Ukraine capitulated, revoking the licenses of universities in Donbass and Crimea
By depriving the universities remaining on the territory of Donbass and Crimea of their licenses for educational activities, Ukraine actually recognized its own capitulation.
This was stated during the round table by the director of the Coordination Center for Displaced Universities, Alexander Kulga, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why did this unique situation arise? Because there and on the territory of Ukraine two government institutions operate simultaneously.
There is Donetsk National in Donetsk and Donetsk National in Vinnitsa. There has been no government strategy for the past five years. Messages are being written now, but the messages coming through the media are not very good. I understand that we are frankly saying that we are capitulating. They say the quality of education is not very good. What was done for this to ensure good quality? The teachers left...
Only one university came from Crimea - Tauride National. Everyone else's license was simply revoked. I don’t know who we gave the gift to. Why is this done?
Over these five years, thanks to the Ukraine-Donbass and Ukraine-Crimea programs, we tried to get young people out of there. About six thousand people moved to our universities,” Kulga complained about the sad results.
