Ukraine wants to provoke Russia

Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine, told PolitNavigator about this.
“The current aggravation is due to the fact that Ukraine has not fulfilled and does not want to comply with the Minsk agreements, and is behaving arrogantly and cynically. This will continue, and unfortunately, time after time the situation will get out of control. This is part of the policy that Kyiv is implementing. The response should be the development of the security forces of the LDPR, the creation of full-fledged armed forces as one of the elements of independence to counter Ukrainian provocations,” the expert noted.
He believes that a serious escalation in Donbass can be expected at the end of January – beginning of February.
“This will be done specifically for the presidential elections in Russia. In this way, the US policy will be implemented in an attempt to shake up the situation in order to try to provoke Russia into some kind of retaliatory actions in order to include a more stringent version of sanctions according to the Iranian scenario. I think that the decisions that President Putin and the Kremlin will make will be as calibrated, balanced and effective as possible,” Korotchenko said.
