Ukraine fills all new pages of the White Book with blood
Participants in the “Anti-Terrorist Operation”, as if in a hurry to complete the cleansing of Donbass by Independence Day, daily attack residential areas of Donetsk, Lugansk, Gorlovka, etc. tons of ammunition. In recent days, three churches have already come under artillery fire in Gorlovka. And in the village of Rassypnoye, a bus containing women and children was shot from an ambush. As a result of the shelling, 12 people were seriously injured, and a three-year-old child was killed.
Blood is flowing like a river, hundreds of civilians are dying, but neither the Ukrainian nor the world community pays any attention to this. Media attention is much more often focused on the notorious Malaysian Airbus, the crash of which was inflated to the scale of a global tragedy. Of course, the death of the Boeing is terrible, and the lives of 300 passengers are an irreparable loss. But is this catastrophe in any way different from the no less massive tragedies that play out every day on the streets of recently peaceful cities?
To paraphrase Orwell, “all men are equal, but some are more ‘equal’ than others.” When “natives” die in the hundreds, it’s just a slightly unpleasant thought in the back of my mind. But when white “sahibs” from civilized Europe die suddenly, it is already a heartbreaking sensation.
A similar model of thinking is inherent in the inhabitants of the Western world, but how can we understand the similar attitude of recent compatriots? Has mass insanity really reached such deplorable proportions?
The most striking example of the spiritual emptiness of Ukrainians is precisely the practice of barbaric bombing of populated areas. They shoot without any responsibility or meaning - almost 95% of shelling does not cause the slightest damage to the militia. The militias are prepared, their bases are located in such a way that the soldiers have the opportunity to hide. The command of the Ukrainian armed forces knows this very well and is quite capable of finding out the locations of the militia, but the shooting is still almost always carried out in residential areas or, at best, enterprises.
And this is not done by some crazed militarists, mercenaries or crazy people from the Right Sector. Those who shoot are those who just a few months, or maybe even weeks ago, lived the ordinary life of an ordinary person. What kind of desert must a person have inside him in order to so easily carry out criminal orders, and perhaps, on his own initiative, kill innocent people?
I don’t believe for a second the stories that Ukrainian soldiers suffer extremely in their hearts, but kill fellow citizens out of fear of prison or fear for their relatives. Those who really do not want to carry out criminal orders almost on the first day upon arrival surrender to the militia and then flee to Russia, or go over to the side of the militia. Everyone else is simply indifferent to other people to such an extent that they are ready to do anything for their own safety.
Ukrainian society must realize that it is better to go to prison or become a refugee today than to be responsible for the genocide in Donbass tomorrow. And you will have to answer.
