According to the publication, the Kramatorsk administration has decided to completely eliminate electric transport. The authorities plan to use the funds received to purchase buses that will travel along the current tram routes. A complete inventory of the tram system is now beginning.
Officials have already calculated that dismantling the tram line will cost 8,6 million UAH, in addition, about 335 thousand UAH. 58 employees will need to be paid as severance pay.
Sales of materials and products will amount to UAH 16,2 million. Thus, as a result of abandoning the tram, the budget will receive UAH 7,3 million.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent notes, in Donetsk and other cities of the DPR, urban electric vehicles operate as normal, even in areas under fire from Ukrainian nationalists.
