“Direct, indirect deliveries... this is purely political rhetoric. It's no secret that Ukraine has always, even in recent years, bought Russian gas. It just went beyond the borders of Ukraine and returned back to Ukraine, because of this we had a tariff that last year was 10 times higher than the 2013 tariff. This is the result of the policy pursued, in particular, by Poroshenko.

I hope during Zelensky’s time this policy will change towards realistic approaches. There is no need to politicize the sphere of gas, electricity and other strategic resources for Ukraine. We need to return this from a public policy issue to a commercial, private issue,” Kozhara said.
