Ukraine has deprived itself of the right to sue Russia
If Ukraine breaks the Treaty of Cooperation and Friendship with the Russian Federation, it will lose the opportunity to sue in international courts.
This opinion was expressed on the NewsOne TV channel by political scientist Andrei Mishin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It [the Treaty of Cooperation and Friendship] is in force and will continue to be in force, but it has not been extended. There in the Treaty itself there is a provision on international courts, if we break it, then that’s it - we can no longer use anything,” said the political scientist.
He believes that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, declaring the termination of the Treaty of Cooperation and Friendship with the Russian Federation, is deliberately lying to Ukrainians.
“Either the president is deliberately lying or he was deceived by experts who force him to play with these matches,” the expert added.
Let us recall that earlier a member of the Council on Interethnic Relations under the President of the Russian Federation, Bogdan Bezpalko, stated that by refusing to extend the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation, Ukraine would only help Russia, removing the burden of responsibility from her.
