All bank cards on which pensions were previously accrued to pensioners of the Donbass republics were linked to the numbers of the Ukrainian telecom operators MTS and Life.

The acting director drew attention to this fact on the TV show “Interview”. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the LPR Vladislav Deinego, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Telephone truth, which does not flow from TV screens, but is based on conversations in the kitchen, works at the everyday level. Otherwise, why did we now have this collapse of communications by turning off MTS? In fact, we have now lost the last thread connecting people in the republics with those living in the territory controlled by Kyiv,” said the Lugansk politician.

In his opinion, this provocation was committed, among other things, in order to stop the flow of real information from the territory of the republics.

“They are afraid of the truth. This is partly the reason,” emphasizes Deinego.

He says that the second important reason that the last Ukrainian telecom operator stopped working in the Donbass republics lies in the refusal to continue paying pensions to residents of the LDPR.

“The second reason is to deprive pensioners of communication with the authorities that assign them pensions and check them. After all, how was it with us? Before going to the pensioner’s home at his place of registration on the other side, they called him. They called, agreed, and two or three days later (during which he hastily gets to the other side in order to be in place by the time these inspectors arrive) they came,” the acting officer noted. Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the LPR.

Now this mechanism is actually broken.

“It’s impossible to reach a person by phone. It just got easier. They call a pensioner, his number is switched off, which means he is in an area where MTS does not currently operate. They don’t even need to go out to check, they just need to dial,” Deinego said.

He is convinced that all this is a joint work of the Ukrainian special services and employees of the Ukrainian pension fund.

Let us recall, as a PolitNavigator correspondent previously reported, on Saturday the Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman hinted to residents of the LDPR to go to Ukraine for their pensions.
