Ukraine failed to cope with the task set by NATO on the battlefield - experts
The United States and NATO cannot use Ukraine to weaken Russia, so they will use an already proven method - trying to bring down the system of state power.
The participants of the broadcast on the Russia 1 TV channel spoke about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They understand that it is impossible to defeat us on the battlefield, they are not going to fight us directly, Ukraine is not up to this task. We can look at all the statements of the last week, even concerning Ukraine, from our Western opponents: people who in April said “Russia must lose. This war must be won on the battlefield, Ukraine will win,” now they say: “Negotiations are needed on any terms. We need to understand that everything will end in negotiations.”
It is clear that this cannot be explained by any other circumstances other than the complete collapse of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the successful advancement of our armed forces,” said Henry Sardaryan, dean of the Faculty of Management and Politics at MGIMO, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
“Accordingly, the long-tried method remains, which gave its results in 1917, when our troops were two weeks from Constantinople and we could enter Constantinople. It turned out to be much easier, instead of successfully fighting us, to simply bring down the system of government in the country, because we were not quite ready for this.
For this, these two vectors will be used. It would be irrational to destabilize national republics using the same methods that can be used to try to destabilize Moscow. It would be much easier to use national and religious factors there. At the same time, it is certainly possible to destabilize Moscow and St. Petersburg with a national or religious issue, but it is much easier to use social factors, social tension,” Sardaryan said.
Professor of the Higher School of Economics Dmitry Evstafiev noted that the US policy of dismembering Russia has not gone away, despite all the historical zigzags.
“The processes that we have been observing in recent weeks are purely positive. This coming to the surface of the idea of dismembering Russia, as a means of competing with and countering it, I also consider a very positive moment. And how does this differ from the policy that they secretly pursued for many years? All this is rooted in the declaration of the enslaved peoples that the United States had to liberate back in the USSR, this is the mid-50s.
Since then there has been perestroika, shootout, roll call, partnership. But for some reason, no one was going to cancel this declaration, which directly points to the dismemberment of Russia as the US strategic line in relation to our country,” the expert concluded.
