Ukraine has begun the promised demining of a destroyed bridge in Donbass
Sappers from the State Emergency Service began clearing mines from the area near the destroyed bridge at the Stanitsa Luganskaya checkpoint, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The Stanichno-Lugansk district state administration reported this on its Facebook page.
“This morning, sappers of the State Emergency Service began demining the area adjacent to the destroyed bridge at the Stanitsa Luhanska checkpoint. This is the next step on our part to repair the bridge,” the message says.
Let us remind you that Ukraine in Minsk voiced its proposals for repairing the bridge in Stanitsa Luganskaya. The OSCE assumes that repairs to the bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska will last several months.
