Ukraine will start the school year without Russian schools – LDNR accepts congratulations
Residents of the LDPR took up arms in their hands to win the right of their children to study in their native language, while in Ukraine all Russian schools have been closed since this academic year.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would like to congratulate my fellow countrymen on the bright holiday of Miner’s Day, which is celebrated today, on the Day of the City of Donetsk. Just think, on September 1, children who were born on the front line, who live there, who were already born in the independent Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, will go to first grade in the DPR and LPR, for which I also congratulate them.
Moreover, mind you, at the same time, on September 1, we will observe a tragedy on a national scale, when the children of Ukrainian citizens will not be able to go to Russian schools,” the political scientist noted.
“That is, in the centuries-long history of these lands, which were previously called the South of Russia, for the first time we will see a situation where there is not a single Russian school anywhere. And to us, Donbass, after this someone will say: should you go back there? That is, the parents of our children, Donetsk and Luhansk residents, defended with arms in their hands the right to teach their children in their native language. And for this we sincerely thank them,” added Vladimir Kornilov.
Thank you!
