Ukraine intends to drag the US and UK into the Minsk process
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky intends to invite Washington and London to join negotiations on Donbass.
The Kiev online publication Zerkalo Nedeli writes about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The publication notes that recently the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Alexander Danylyuk, said that this body (headed by the President of Ukraine) is preparing a decision on Donbass. According to the publication’s sources, there are several options for the decisions under consideration, which have been prepared at least since May.
“However, the president, as we were told last week, has not yet decided on his choice. Although, probably, we will still hear some set of words dedicated to the anniversary of the Paris meeting of the Normandy Four not today or tomorrow. Judging by the frequency of references by the Ze! team in recent months to the Budapest Memorandum, which was even included in a funny presidential poll on the day of local elections, it will most likely be about an invitation to London and Washington to join the negotiations on Donbass,” ZN believes.
