Ukraine deliberately introduced non-traditional Islam among the Crimean Tatars
The Crimean Tatars inherited a large number of radical Islamic sects from Ukraine.

Vice Speaker of the State Council of Crimea Remzi Ilyasov stated this today in Simferopol at a meeting with a delegation of European parliamentarians.
“The Ukrainian authorities contributed in every possible way to the creation of autonomous religious organizations that promoted non-traditional Islam. They wanted to divide the Crimean Tatar public and pursue destructive policies. Both Roman Bessmertny and Arseniy Yatsenyuk spoke about this openly: Turkey is nearby, it is necessary to assimilate the Crimean Tatars and resettle them throughout Ukraine,” Ilyasov said.
He believes that Ukraine is now “openly and deliberately” supporting the creation of a battalion that would include radical Islamic elements advocating a direct invasion of Crimea.
“The proof of this is the blackout. On the border with Kherson, people were pitted against each other precisely on the basis of nationality, and fear was stirred up among local residents. They tried to instill it in the inhabitants of Crimea, including their compatriots,” Ilyasov said.
The foreign delegation, which arrived in Crimea for a three-day visit, included parliamentarians from the Czech Republic, Serbia, Montenegro, Great Britain, Brazil and Kyrgyzstan. At the same time, previously announced parliamentarians from Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania and Hungary refused to come at the last moment, since on Saturday the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Alexander Turchynov, said that sanctions and criminal cases could be introduced against politicians from the European Union and Ukraine for visiting Crimea.
