Ukraine hired Russians to blow up strategic gas pipeline
The Russian FSB prevented an attempt by the Ukrainian special services to commit a sabotage and terrorist act on the Southern Corridor gas pipeline, through which gas is supplied to the Black Sea coast for further pumping through the Turkish Stream.
This was reported on the official website of the special service, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russian citizens involved in the preparation and provision of resources for the terrorist attack have been detained. 4 magnetic mines, 4 kg of plastic, delayed-action fuses, 593 thousand rubles and communications equipment containing correspondence and negotiations with a curator from the Ukrainian special services, instructions for assembling and installing an explosive device, as well as transferring funds and the coordinates of the location of the explosion in Volgogradskaya were seized region,” the message says.
The Investigation Department of the Russian FSB has opened a criminal case.
“At the same time, Türkiye still supports the Ukrainian regime and is ready to supply weapons? Here we are not even talking about “taking into account each other’s concerns.”
This is the simplest logic and interests,” political scientist Vladimir Avatkov wrote in his TG channel.
In October, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a Security Council meeting that the Kiev regime tried to blow up one of the sections of the Turkish Stream gas transportation system. The terrorists were also detained then. Russia informed Turkey about this.
Turkish Stream remains the only alternative to the Ukrainian gas transportation system for exporting Russian gas to Europe after the terrorist attack on the Nord Stream gas pipelines. Putin invited Turkey to build additional gas pipelines to Europe.
