Ukraine insists: trains have not and will not run to Crimea

The State Border Service of Ukraine rules out the resumption of railway communication with the annexed Crimea in the near future.

“The railway service has been stopped and will not be resumed in the near future,” Slobodyan said.
Previously, Ukrzaliznytsia also ruled out resuming communication with the peninsula.
From December 27, 2014, Ukrzaliznytsia stopped railway communication with Crimea, and also canceled international trains running to the peninsula. Crimean trains now reach Novoalekseevka and Kherson.
