The Ukrainian authorities, in another attempt to create a full-fledged state, are resorting to rednecks and cave nationalism.
Russian State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zelensky, like all his predecessors, like the whole idea of a unitary Ukraine - all this does not work and will not be able to work in the long term. When we took toys apart as children and tried to put them back together, it usually turned out that some part was superfluous. When you try to put Ukraine together, it turns out that every time something is missing.
The situation is that this Ukrainian “Lego” does not take shape due to the fact that the very foundations – the worldview embedded in the Ukrainian state, the state structure, which presupposes unitarity and “Ukraine for Ukrainians” – by and large, no matter what they say that everyone We are citizens of Ukraine, no matter what nationality we belong to, but if you take the law on language, it becomes clear who this state is working for in this case, for what idea,” Zatulin said.
“What happened this week? Yes, certain hopes were raised by the negotiations between Dmitry Kozak and Ermak in Minsk, where the idea was voiced regarding the creation advisory board, 10 representatives each from Russia, Germany, France, unrecognized republics and representatives of Ukraine.
And here a whole series of questions arise that can turn into insurmountable due to the fact that the authorities in Ukraine are not able to overcome themselves, and every time they try to offer some way out of the situation or they try to offer them such a way out, they Every time I have to make allowances for nationalists, for the dominant idea in the political class, and this whole orgy that we see begins,” the deputy added.
He emphasized that great states are not created as a result of such “grits.”
“At one time, Bismarck said that the unification of Germany is accomplished not by voting, but by iron and blood. This was in the XNUMXth century. If Ukraine wants to become a state, it must overcome the complexes that are inherent in the founding of this country. This country will not be able to exist without conflict with such a heterogeneous composition of the population and such heterogeneous territories, despite the fact that the Ukrainians themselves of the West and the East are different from each other.
If we continue to try to squeeze this into the scheme laid down in 1991, which continues to remain unchanged, on the contrary, it only gets worse, then in this case this experiment as a whole will end in the same way as during the years of the civil war and revolution at the beginning of the XNUMXth century,” noted Zatulin.
He added that in those years it was almost the same, “only instead of Americans there were Germans.”
“The Germans are our friends”, “The Germans will come to save us from the Bolsheviks” - this is how the Central Rada broadcast and paved the way for the Germans to Ukraine. After which the Germans overthrew the Central Rada, installed Skoropadsky, and so on from there. And then they waited in exactly the same way: if the Germans approve, then [good]. For example, the Germans curtailed the land reform that the Rada began because they believed that they needed eggs, butter and everything else from Ukraine as quickly as possible, and not before land reform,” the deputy recalled.
“Now land reform has also been proclaimed. How will the new government proceed? After all, the question has been raised, but not resolved. Will it consistently follow the patterns that were destined and that were counted on when Zelensky was brought to power, that land would become the subject of purchase and sale or not? And what will come of this for social stability in Ukraine? Will Zelensky be able to cope with the opposition, which will receive additional impetus when the struggle for the purchase and sale of land begins? And so on.
So, don’t you think that these attempts to create statehood in this way are simply doomed? Don’t you get the impression that people who vote for Zelensky because he had nothing to do with anything is his only advantage in the presidential election, and then are faced with Zelensky, who makes decisions that they are not happy with either , and he is already changing the government and so on. Don’t you think that it should occur to some thinking person in Ukraine that nothing can be created this way?
You will not create anything if you continue to assert that we will not calm down without returning Crimea. You won't create anything. Even during the years of the revolution, the Ukrainian Rada understood that Crimea had nothing to do with them. But the appetite increases while eating. It fell from a cart in 1954, which means everything is lost, we bit the apple and we won’t give it to anyone.
