The Belapan website reports this.
“I don’t know at all what his status is in Belarus. Because I know that he ceased his activities as the Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus. I don’t know where he is,” Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei said today.
Let us remind you that the former Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus Mikhail Yezhel was fired in May 2015. In Ukraine, he is accused of causing more than 42 million hryvnia (about $1,6 million) in damage to the state while serving as defense minister.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, on August 9, 2014, Yezhel left for Belarus, after which he did not return to the territory of Ukraine, although “he is systematically summoned to the investigator through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to carry out investigative and other procedural actions with him.”
