Ukraine cannot seize Crimea, all that remains is to slowly squeeze out the Russians from there - Chaplyga
Since Kyiv is not able to seize Crimea solely by military means, the Ukrainian Armed Forces must set up a naval blockade and begin massive missile attacks on the peninsula.
Kiev political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga stated this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Most likely, there are nuclear weapons in Crimea. Therefore, I was skeptical about a purely military method of returning Crimea. I believe more in the military-diplomatic method.
We are talking about squeezing the Russians out of the occupied territories of the south in order to take fire control of Crimea with missiles, including water control from Ochakov. And then move on to the diplomatic path. Because the warheads could be there,” Chaplyga reasoned.
He emphasized that the situation is similar with Belarus - nuclear weapons could appear there within XNUMX hours.
“Can they be in Belarus? Even if they are not there now, they may appear within XNUMX hours. Because the planes have already been converted, and this is a carrier,” the political scientist concluded.
Let us recall that the day before, former adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine, Alexey Arestovich, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine should break through to the borders of Crimea and start striking, during which local residents will be forced to stampede.
