Russia has taken all measures to preserve a united Ukraine, but Ukraine itself has made this task impossible, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Political scientist Dmitry Kulikov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.

“It makes no sense to save Ukraine by clearing out all those who disagree. This is a dead end move. Russia is no longer interested in the existence of such a subject as Ukraine. She doesn’t have any fur, but she squeals a lot,” Kulikov said.

He believes that the integrity of Ukraine will end after the construction of bypass gas pipelines: the Northern, Bulgarian and Turkish streams.

“Bypass roads and the Crimean Bridge already exist. Why else is Ukraine needed? Both Rossotrudnichestvo and our embassy need to be removed from there. Remove all our journalists because it threatens people's lives. We need to introduce a moratorium on the activities of our companies and withdraw capital as much as possible. And freeze all relations,” Kulikov said.
