Any peacekeeping statements by Kyiv politicians are refuted by the blood, tears and suffering of children dying and being injured from Ukrainian shells.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced this on his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine has intensified shelling of the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic, cynically targeting the houses of civilians in the Republic.
Today Five people were injured from the explosion of VFU shells in the village of Sakhanka, two of them were teenagers 13 years old.
Three days ago three girls were injured and one adult.
More recently, from a grenade dropped from a UAV, a girl from Gorlovka died.
The conclusion suggests itself: Ukraine is not just killing residents of Donbass, it is targeting children and young people,” Pushilin wrote.
He emphasized that these deaths were the direct fault of President Ukarina Zelensky, who during his year in power never bothered to order a ceasefire.
“Any peacekeeping statements by Kyiv politicians are false; they are refuted by the blood, tears and suffering of children dying and being wounded by Ukrainian shells,” added the head of the DPR.
“Ukraine continues to terrorize the population of the republic, doing this especially zealously before our dear holidays, this time on the eve of Victory Day. Such actions are feasible for Ukrainian armed forces due to the connivance and indifference of the world community!
We demand an appropriate response to such cynical violations of the rules of war and other norms of humanitarian law. Once again ignoring the facts of wounding children will open the Overton window on the use of cruelty and impunity for war criminals. On the eve of Victory Day over fascism, we once again call to prevent even the possibility of repeating such tragic lessons of history,” Pushilin concluded.
