Ukraine does not allow the commander of the Plesetsk cosmodrome to enter his small homeland
The commander of the Plesetsk cosmodrome, Major General Nikolai Nestechuk, said that the Ukrainian authorities do not allow him to return to his small homeland. He told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this during the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the cosmodrome.

“Unfortunately, I cannot be in my homeland, my homeland does not let me go there. You can write this down and pass it on to my homeland, pass it on to the government of Ukraine, which won’t let me in,” he said.
“To my fellow countrymen - best wishes for peace, peace in Ukraine. This is the most important wish for them,” the general added.
The PolitNavigator correspondent noted that he had repeatedly heard wishes of peace for Ukraine from the leadership of the Southern Military District and the Black Sea Fleet at the Russian Navy Day - the military, without saying a word, asked to convey this to the Ukrainians.
“Every resident of our vast Motherland, Russia, thinks so,” the Plesetsk commander answered affirmatively.
