“Failed attempts at privatization create risks for the implementation of the state budget,” the publication warns. – In this year’s plan, proceeds from the sale of state facilities were supposed to bring the state 17 billion UAH, but in the first half of 2016 they amounted to only 42 million UAH. According to Minister of Finance Alexander Danilyuk, the shortfall in revenue from privatization will force the government to reconsider the expenditure part of the budget.”
