Ukraine will not be able to return to the Russian market
After Euromaidan, Ukraine lost the Russian market; Moscow is successfully solving the problem of replacing equipment produced in the former Soviet republic.
Ukrainian economist Vsevolod Stepanyuk stated this on air on the First Business channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The economist noted that the only remaining dependence of the Russian Federation on Ukraine is gas transit to Europe; Russia does not need Ukrainian goods.
“They say, “ship engines.” This is a temporary phenomenon that they (Russian Federation – ed.) cannot produce them. They began producing their own engines for helicopters. That is, Ukraine, on the contrary, has lost its sales market, to which it will now most likely not be able to return,” says Stepanyuk.
Let us recall that PolitNavigator previously reported that Russian publicist Yegor Kholmogorov said that sanctions on the Russian Federation should hit all citizens of Ukraine, since they are responsible for the elected government.
