Kyiv, November 13 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The main holes in Ukraine’s budget are the lack of money to pay pensions and finance the Naftogaz company. Economist Andrei Blinov stated this on the TV channel.

“Today, the public finance deficit exceeds 10% of GDP, which is 12 billion in dollar equivalent. This is mainly money from the Pension Fund and Naftogaz... And the war and corruption issues come after all this,” he said.

Blinov noted that Ukraine will most likely have to adopt new so-called unpopular measures - further reduction of expenses for the maintenance of pensioners and increase in tariffs.

“We have not carried out a reform of the pension system, no matter how much the citizens would like it, and the system of payment for energy resources,” the expert said.
