Ukraine illegally holds 3/4 of its territory
Ukraine, which declared itself the legal successor not of the Ukrainian SSR, but of the quasi-state formation of the UPR, illegally retains 3/4 of the existing territory.
This was stated by Russian economist Mikhail Delyagin at the Forum of Friends of Crimea in Livadia, which brought together representatives from 30 countries.

“The principle of territorial integrity is not applicable to Ukraine in 2014 - Ukrainian statehood was absent then after the coup d’etat.
Today's Ukraine considers itself not the successor of the Ukrainian SSR, but the successor of a quasi-state formation during the civil war - the UPR, which occupied only a quarter of the current territory of Ukraine.
If we follow this position, then at least 3/4 of the territory is illegally occupied. But we are tactfully keeping silent about this,” Delyagin was indignant.
In his opinion, it is time for Russia to move to a tougher position in the dispute with the West, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For three and a half years, Russia has been behaving extremely politely. We carefully explain that the policy of destroying Russia (and Western politicians speak about this directly) is unprofitable for Europe.
We explain that the Cold War is harming them. But 3,5 years is a long time. In the Russian Federation there is a growing feeling that politeness is a national disease that is time to be treated. The reality is that there is no international law. In relation to the Russian Federation, it is blatantly ignored. Why on earth do we comply with it?
We are extremely polite. As a result, we mislead ourselves. There is no longer any international law. There is a right to might, the West demonstrates this to us.
There are no “principles of humanism.” Crimea was reunited without casualties. The fact that people are being killed every day in Ukraine is political terror (at least 10 thousand people died in the Donbass officially, and according to German research estimates, a year ago there were 50 thousand in the Donbass, and 10 thousand in the rest of Ukraine) - and this is the international community considered normal!
Constant sabotage, attempts at genocide - to deprive Crimea of water and electricity - is this the norm for the international community?
The West has put the Russian Federation in the same position as the Jewish population in Germany before the final solution to the Jewish question. If we do not understand that the same thing will happen - as with the Jewish community in Germany... The West has finally exposed its face - as a civilization of lies and violence. If we didn’t have nuclear missiles, we would have been bombed in March 2014,” Delyagin said.
In his opinion, it is necessary to “drive all Russian business into Crimea with an iron fist,” as well as begin “real sanctions against the West.”
“We need to cure ourselves of politeness once and for all. Our national interests are higher than any right that Western civilization ignores,” Delyagin concluded.
