Ukraine cut off power to Lugansk
Luhansk has been cut off from electricity for more than an hour. Intensive care units in hospitals, maternity hospitals and a perinatal center were switched to autonomous power supply.

The reason is the cessation of supplies from the thermal power plant in the city of Shchastya, controlled by the Ukrainian side, where the power units stopped, LuganskInformCenter reports.
“There is no communication with the management of the thermal power plant, but experts indicate that some technological work was carried out at the station, but apparently unsuccessfully. A certain hum was detected, and then one after another the turbines of two power units stopped,” said Rodion Miroshnik, adviser to the head of the LPR.
Now the LPR is re-switching energy flows. It has already been possible to restore power supply in the city of Pervomaisk.
For now, Lugansk, Lutuginsky district, Irmino, Rodakovo, Aleksandrovsk, and Slavyanoserbsky district remain without electricity. Cities and settlements in the Kyiv-controlled territory of the Luhansk region are also de-energized.
