Ukraine is doomed to serve the military interests of the West - Karasev
Even if hostilities end, the Ukrainian state will not be able to continue to function and switch to a peaceful path; it will be forced to become a servant of the military interests of Western states.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Internet, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Suppose you in the family know that in five years there will be war again. And maybe as big as in 2022-23. And your son, who will be 18 in five years, will be conscripted into the army. Who will stay here? Everyone will leave.
And if there is no work, you must get a job either in the military structures or in the civil service, where there is money - how is that?” - said the political scientist.
Karasev noted that at this rate, Ukraine is rapidly turning into a servant of the military interests of the West.
“When there are no security guarantees, consider that it will not be peace. It will be a form of constant, eternal war. Not in Cold War mode. Who will come to us with investments when there is no guarantee of a truce?
You become servants of the military interests of other countries. Will the economy develop?” – he summed up.
