Ukraine shelled the proposed disengagement zone in Petrivske
The Ukrainian side fired at the DPR-controlled settlement of Petrovskoye, in the area of which the disengagement of forces and assets of Ukraine and the People’s Republic is planned - following the example of what happened the day before on another “hot” section of the front - near Zolote (LPR).
The official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR, Rinat Aigistov, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have repeatedly stated about the intensification of the activities of nationalist gangs in the areas of withdrawal of forces and assets. From gathering and organizational activities, the radicals moved on to practical actions to escalate tensions in order to disrupt the process of separation of the parties.
So, yesterday the village of Petrovskoye was subjected to grenade launcher fire from the Ukrainian Federal University, which was recorded in the official report of the JCCC,” he said.
At the same time, according to a representative of the defense department, the fire was carried out under video recording from Western media, such as Radio Liberty and the Associated Press, which were in the OOS zone from October 31 to November 10 in order to prepare staged stories accusing the People's Militia of the DPR of the planned disengagement of forces and assets.
