Ukraine has announced a massive search for police officers and participants in the Russian Spring from Crimea
In Ukraine, 5,8 thousand Crimean security forces were put on the wanted list, who refused to leave the peninsula and took the Russian oath, as well as more than 800 members of the Crimean Self-Defense.
The head of the “Crimean” department of the National Police of Ukraine, Anatoly Bakhchivanzhi, stated this at a briefing in Kyiv.
“To date, 5800 people have been put on the wanted list who served and remained there after the withdrawal of military units to the mainland. There are already results. Today we have already detained seven people in six months...
A register of participants in an illegally formed armed group called Self-Defense of Crimea has been created, where complete data on 860 people is entered. Today three were arrested,” Bakhchivanzhi.
