Ukraine announced its agents in Putin's inner circle
There are allegedly more and more people in the Russian government who are ready to cooperate with the Ukrainian special services.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this in an interview with the Kyiv anti-Russian propaganda portal Ukrayinska Pravda, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, General Kirill Budanov, said.
He commented on the recent words of Ukrainian intelligence officer Andrei Chernyak, according to whom, in the inner circle of Russian President Vladimir Putin there are people who cooperate with the GUR.
“That was the question asked by the press representative. He received an absolutely direct answer to it. They didn't reveal any names or anyone. Of course, I won’t name them for you either,” Budanov said.
The journalist asked whether there were many GUR agents in Putin’s entourage.
“I won’t say about the quantity either. They are. And since the situation in the Russian Federation is really getting worse every day, it’s becoming easier every day to find people willing to cooperate,” says the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
The publication inquired about the motivation of Putin’s inner circle to cooperate with Ukraine.
“The possibility of a normal existence in the future. It will not be, I think, a big secret to your audience that we have close relationships with many countries of the world,” Budanov concluded.
