Ukraine has put paintings from Crimean museums on the wanted list through Interpol
Interpol, at the request of Kyiv, put on the wanted list paintings by artists of the 18th and 19th centuries, stored in museums in Crimea.

About it reports the press service of the so-called “prosecutor’s office of Crimea” controlled by Kyiv.
“52 paintings of the Museum Fund of Ukraine by artists of the 18th-19th centuries, which in March 2014 were illegally transferred to the Simferopol Art Museum, were put on the State and interstate wanted list through Interpol channels,” the statement says.
It is reported that among the “wanted” paintings are such exhibits as “Moonlit Night” by Ivan Aivazovsky, “Road in the Forest” by Ivan Shishkin, “Swamp” by Isaac Levitan and others.
According to the “Prosecutor's Office of Crimea”, the estimated estimated value of the paintings as of March 20, 2014 was 1 million 324 thousand dollars.
