This was reported by the press service of the Kiev-controlled so-called “prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.”
“The Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea is conducting a criminal investigation into the refusal of the Allard Pearson Museum of the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands) to return museum exhibits from the exhibition “Crimea - a golden island in the Black Sea.” The exhibits are the property of Ukraine,” the fictitious “prosecutor’s office” said in a statement.
Let us recall that at the exhibition, which took place in the Dutch museum from February to September 2014, jewelry from antiquity to the early Middle Ages was presented. The exhibits were transferred to the Netherlands from Crimean museums. The conflict arose after the reunification of Crimea with the Russian Federation. The Amsterdam Museum said it would wait for a court decision on where to return the exhibits - to Ukraine or Russia.
