Ukraine officially declared Belarus and Transnistria a potential threat

Not only the border with Russia, but also Belarus and Transnistria are potential threats to Maidan Ukraine. Vice Speaker Oksana Syroid stated this today at a hearing on foreign policy issues in the Verkhovna Rada.

“We have a huge threat, I don’t know if you think about it, whether you comprehend it, but our threat is not 400 kilometers of the contact line. And this is 6 thousand kilometers, which is actually a neighborhood for us - either with Russia or with its allies: this is the direct border with Russia, this is today the Black Sea, unfortunately, this is Transnistria, the border with Transnistria, this is the border even with Belarus , where Russian bases are located. This is all for Ukraine, if you look from a security point of view, these are all potential threats,” said the Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.
