Ukraine turned out to be indifferent not only to Trump, but also to Clinton
The Ukrainian card was not played at all during the debates of US presidential candidates.

This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by the former head of the information department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, international political scientist Oleg Voloshin.
“The ruling team of Poroshenko and his allies not only clearly declared their support for Clinton, but also their extreme hostility towards Trump,” Voloshin recalled. “And in some ways they even managed to create problems for Trump.” This whole story with Manafort and the “black cash” of the Party of Regions had a serious impact - but not on Trump’s rating; American voters, as it turned out, did not care about it. But this story influenced the attitude towards Trump in the establishment and in the team itself.”
The expert noted that even Trump’s influential associates came to the conclusion that only Manafort’s resignation could quell the scandal.
“That’s what happened. As soon as Paul left, immediately the issues of Crimea and everything else that had accumulated there disappeared from the agenda, that is, only the purely Russian aspect remained, and not the Ukrainian map. In the last two months, if you watch the candidate debates, the word “Ukraine” was not even mentioned. It sounded like Russia was interfering in the election process, Trump almost encouraged it, and so on,” Voloshin said.
