Ukraine was not ready to introduce peacekeepers into Donbass
Washington and Kyiv expressed their unwillingness to work on the text of the draft resolution on the deployment of a UN security mission in Donbass. This was stated by the Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Vasily Nebenzya, сообщает TASS.

“This project has already been discussed within the Security Council, and there has been a reaction from partners. – We proposed work on the text of this draft, but the delegations of Ukraine and the United States, after the first discussion, said that they were not ready to work further on the text, they would have significant comments, and, perhaps, the Ukrainians would have a counter-project on the issue of deploying a peacekeeping mission in Donbass,” said the Russian diplomat.
He suggested that President Poroshenko, who will participate in the General Assembly session, will say something on this topic in his speech.
“Therefore, there is no discussion of our project at the moment. It is simply logistically impossible for the next week, because a high-level week will not provide an opportunity to engage in expert work,” explained the Russian permanent representative to the UN.
