In the “Best Countries for a Comfortable Retirement” ranking, Ukraine was at the very bottom – in 72nd place out of 80 countries, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The corresponding rating was compiled by the American publication US News and the Wharton business school and BAV Group.
Iran came in last, 80th place. This country has been voted the worst place to live in retirement. At the same time, the most comfortable country for retirees for the second year in a row is New Zealand. Australia and Switzerland are also in the top three.
Belarus has overtaken Ukraine in the list - it is in 66th place. The Russian Federation took penultimate, 79th place.
Ukraine's neighbors in the ranking are Angola (71st place) and Algeria (73rd place).
Poland took 32nd place, Hungary - 39th place, Czech Republic - 37th place, Romania - 50th place, Turkey - 46th place.
