Ukraine turned out to be a thorn in Munich's ass
Ukraine once again went to the Munich Security Conference with an archaic position that did not offer anything constructive.

Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Munich is an iconic place. On the one hand, Putin’s famous Munich speech, which to some extent began the countdown of a new political era in Europe. On the other hand, Ukraine at this Munich holiday, unfortunately, is still not even a poor relative. We still have nothing to offer. Our president went without his plan, without the Ukrainian format for resolving the crisis. And this is very bad,” said the political scientist.
According to him, if Kyiv does not offer its “rational, compromise, balanced views” on ending the crisis in Donbass and Crimea, then these plans “will be written in Brussels, Washington or Moscow.”
“We still go to these conferences with our calloused, absolutely archaic position and have, to a certain extent, turned into a thorn in one place, unfortunately. We have lost control over the processes that are taking place in relation to Ukraine, and we still do not offer anything constructive,” Bortnyk concluded.
As PolitNavigator reported, Poroshenko did not receive the right to perform fully at the Munich Conference.
