Ukraine has finally switched to attacks only on civilian targets in Russia - expert
The Ukrainian Armed Forces will use Western long-range missiles exclusively for peaceful purposes, and not for military ones, as NATO says.
Vice-President of the Academy of Missile and Artillery Sciences, Doctor of Military Sciences Konstantin Sivkov said this on air on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is chatter, of course. They will most likely only hit civilians, because there is no point in them hitting military targets. They will only hit civilians, taking into account the targets I spoke about,” Sivkov said.
The real target of the attack indicated to Ukraine by the West, in his opinion, is public sentiment in Russia, which should shake in a negative direction after hypothetical hits. Russia, in turn, will have to stretch its air defense along the entire front line and into the depths of the country.
