Ukraine has finally lost faith in Poroshenko’s victory
An all-Ukrainian representative public opinion poll showed that the majority of Ukrainians support and are confident in the victory of showman Vladimir Zelensky in the presidential election.
Deputy Director of the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology Anton Grushetsky spoke about this during the briefing, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Respondents were offered a list of 12 social and political figures, including two participants in the second round of presidential elections. Vladimir Zelensky has the best attitude among the population; now 54% of Ukrainians have a positive attitude towards him, only 17% of Ukrainians have a negative attitude towards him,” said the sociologist.
At the same time, according to a poll, current President Petro Poroshenko is in eighth place in terms of the positive attitude of Ukrainians, which at the same time is inferior to the number of negative reviews.
“If we talk about the second participant in the second round of elections, Petro Poroshenko, then 18% are now positive about him and 58% are negative,” Grushetsky noted.
In addition, according to those surveyed, it is the showman Vladimir Zelensky who has the greatest chance of winning in the second round of the presidential election.
“More than half of the population - 57% believe that Vladimir Zelensky will win in the second round. 14% of Ukrainians expect Petro Poroshenko to win, and another 29% do not yet know who has a greater chance of winning,” the sociologist stated.
