Ukraine is ahead of all European countries in terms of poverty levels
About 10 million citizens of Ukraine live below the poverty line, and the country, in terms of GDP, is in similar positions in the rankings with African countries. Former Minister of Economy of Ukraine Viktor Suslov stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“When we are told that about 10 million Ukrainians have incomes, including these small pensions, at the level of one and a half thousand hryvnia per month, and when in cities payment for apartments and utilities exceeds this amount, what can we say that these people are below the poverty line. The situation, unfortunately, continues to worsen... If, according to the IMF, at the end of last year, Ukraine ranks 134th in terms of GDP per capita, that is, among African countries, this is the lowest figure in Europe,” Suslov said .
