Ukraine disgraced itself in PACE
The Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe criticized the resolution “Protection and development of regional and national minority languages”, and as a result found itself alone.
The former head of the information department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Voloshin reported this on his Facebook page.

“The red line in the speeches of delegates from various European countries is the idea: strengthening linguistic and cultural diversity on the continent is a fundamental European value. And only representatives of the “jingoistic” factions of the Rada in PACE decided to criticize the resolution, which only confirmed that the course they imposed on Ukraine has nothing to do with the movement into the European legal and value space,” Voloshin wrote.
He believes that after such behavior of Ukrainian representatives in European organizations, Kyiv does not have to count on further isolation of Russia.
