Yulia Sereda, a senior researcher at the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“There is a very interesting indicator that we measure - it is called “socio-economic expectations,” said Sereda. – In the last six months they have actually been at their peak. Over the past 10 years, the bottom of such expectations was during the global financial crisis. This year we have fallen below that bottom. As they say, there was a knock from below. In terms of any positive economic expectations for the future, 2015 turned out to be the second peak year in this dynamics.”
