Ukraine was left without a corridor of opportunity
Apart from the IMF, the Kyiv regime has virtually no opportunity to gain access to external borrowing, which will lead to dire socio-economic consequences for the country.

Denis Kiryukhin, an expert at the Kiev Center for Political Studies and Conflict Studies, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, noting that the curtailment of social programs and negative social consequences are traditional, as world experience shows, consequences of cooperation with the IMF.
“And here the corridor of opportunities for Ukraine is not just narrow - it is basically non-existent. It is clear that the question of whether or not to cooperate with the IMF is not worth it for Ukraine, since today there is no serious alternative to external borrowing that would help the Ukrainian economy,” the political scientist said.
At the same time, he recalled that Latin American countries avoided cooperation with the IMF, overcoming the negative consequences through powerful regional alliances aimed at mutual assistance, including the Bolivarian Alternative for the Peoples of America and the Union of South American Nations.
“But Ukraine has no one to turn to. China and Russia are the only major players who can provide loans. But the topic of Russia, of course, is closed, and China is quite cautious, especially since it is making powerful financial injections into East Africa. The only money that is given relatively quickly and in volume is the IMF program. Ukraine made its choice several years ago. I think the point of no return has already been passed. And in this regard, the only question that can arise is taking measures to mitigate social consequences,” Kiryukhin emphasized.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, the International Foundation warned Blazer. What Ukraine is being sucked into a debt funnel, and debt servicing is becoming increasingly expensive.
