Ukraine will remain an anti-Russian battering ram for the United States even after Trump’s victory
Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election does not mean that America will refuse to use Ukraine as an anti-Russian battering ram. Russian military expert Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine, told PolitNavigator about this.

“I have no illusions that after Trump’s victory, US policy will undergo fundamental changes in relation to, say, Ukraine. The fact is that for the United States, Ukraine is the most important geopolitical project aimed at ramming against Russia.
At the same time, one must understand that, of course, the key decisions in the United States are made by the president, but there is a system of checks and balances. For now, we can only use cautious optimism, and nothing more.
The speeches of American politicians during the election race and real politics are two completely different things,” Korotchenko said.
