Ukraine reported that in April it seized a third of the property of the UOC in Lavra
A third of the property used by the UOC on the territory of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra became the property of Ukraine.
The Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine Alexander Tkachenko reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The ICIP Commission in Lavra continues its work. As a result of the work done in April, a third of the total amount of property that was in the free use of the UOC-MP was returned to the use of the state,” Tkachenko wrote in his telegram channel.
According to him, only in the last two days the commission has transferred 16 monument buildings for use by the Reserve.
“In general, among the attractions in which the inspection was carried out are the Cells of the Gostinny Dvor, the Household House, the Hospital of the Gostiny Dvor with the Church of the Virgin of All Sorrows, the Cells of the Gostiny Dvor, the Cells of the Gostinny Dvor, the Gatehouse of the Gostinny, the Gallery on the Near on the Near Caves, the Entrance to the Gallery of the Near caves, buildings representing a complex of structures Galleries from the Near to the Far Caves, the Debosket retaining wall, the Rotunda of the Debosket retaining wall, a hospital with a church, a Water Tower and others,” the minister specified.
He promised to continue working at the Lavra.
“State property will be returned to its rightful owner,” Tkachenko summed up.
