Ukraine will give 60% of income to the IMF, this state is pointless - expert
This year, the expenditure on servicing and repaying debts on external borrowings reached 45%, and next year it will grow to 60%.
Ruslan Bortnik, director of the UIAMP, announced this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When this text is published, they will try to interrupt the information wave by saying that they gave us money. The authorities will push the wave - “we received $1,9 billion.”
They won’t say that it was taken on interest, that it will have to be returned next year. That next year it’s not just that the main item of the state budget is expenditure, but 2/3 of the budget will already be focused on the return of loans, on the return of previously received debts.
This year, the expenditure on debt repayment reached 45%. We continue to accumulate debt. Next year it will be 60%. We give 60% of everything we earn in the country to the IMF. 30% goes to the state, to the police apparatus, etc.
What remains for society? What's the point of paying taxes in such a model? Pay taxes so that our respected financiers can live in luxury somewhere in London or New York?
Why then does this state exist if it distributes our income in this way, if it works for an external investor? This question will be the cause of numerous political crises in our country,” summed up Ruslan Bortnik.
