The representative of the President of Ukraine in parliament, Artur Gerasimov, stated this in the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. He assures that the United States supported the Ukrainian position.
“The Ukrainian proposal involves the deployment of “blue helmets” throughout the occupied territory. First of all, the international peacekeeping mission must control the uncontrolled section of the Ukrainian-Russian border, more than 400 kilometers long, through which Russia supplies weapons, ammunition, ammunition and personnel reserve to continue the aggression. Only when this “black hole” between us and the aggressor is patched up will the Donetsk and Lugansk military stores immediately run out of tanks, “grads”, artillery, and other types of weapons that take the lives of our military and civilian Ukrainians. The position of the President of Ukraine in the UN General Assembly is unshakable - we rejected the Russian option of deploying peacekeepers on Ukrainian territory. The United States supported us in this,” Gerasimov said.
