Ukraine refused to extradite a Russian volunteer for exchange
Ukraine is violating agreements on the exchange of prisoners in the “all for all” format. Kyiv itself decides who it wants to release and who it wants to leave in prison.
Viktor Chevguz, the lawyer of the detained Viktor Ageev, spoke about this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “Lot”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“From the words of Irina Gerashchenko, I learned that Viktor Ageev, due to the fact that he is a Russian serviceman, is not included in the list for the exchange of prisoners of war, according to the “all for all” scheme.
Having heard this, I will, of course, contact Irina Gerashchenko and the SBU. I will also contact the Russian embassy regarding this matter. The main reason for my appeal was that the prisoner exchange agreement should have been applied to everyone accused of terrorism. Because they are not judged for nationality and citizenship, they are judged for actions or inactions, in this case actions,” said Viktor Chevguz.
