Ukraine refused to fulfill the political part of “Minsk” - Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that the Ukrainian authorities deliberately refused to implement the political part of the Minsk agreements on Donbass.

He stated this at a press conference following the BRICS summit in Goa.
“I know that my colleague, President Poroshenko, is again trying to shift some responsibility onto Russia, citing the unsettled situation in the security sphere... I believe that this is only an excuse to do nothing in the political sphere,” Putin said.
He also noted that on security issues the parties should “at least move in parallel.”
“Without this, it will be impossible to achieve a settlement,” Putin added.
Let us recall that earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko rejected the implementation of the political part of “Minsk” until “security” was achieved there.
