Ukraine has opened a hunt for Crimeans
Ukraine has opened a real hunt for Crimeans, as evidenced by a number of reports about the detention of residents of the peninsula recently. Crimean political scientist Alexander Formanchuk told PolitNavigator about this.
“This is a targeted hunt for Crimeans. This is not only the Nord, not only the second sand mining vessel, this is also the Yevpatoria deputy, who has now been detained and accused of participating in the militia. There is a whole series of surnames that can be continued. There is simply a targeted hunt for Crimeans, who are perceived as criminals in Ukraine.
This will continue until the Crimeans themselves understand the risks associated with crossing the border. On the other hand, we will not remove family relationships and so on.
Here the Russian side must take more stringent measures to protect our citizens. These issues need to be resolved through diplomatic channels. Although we understand that Ukraine is deliberately provoking this,” Formanchuk said.
