Ukraine opens Pandora's box
Ukraine, abandoning its Soviet legacy, opens the way to territorial claims from neighboring states.

Political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on UkrLife, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the Ukrainian SSR was one of the founders of the UN and a more significant state than the same UPR, whose legal successor the current leaders of Ukraine today want to declare the country to be.
“In point “A” - Ukraine’s refusal, gradual but purposeful, from the legacy of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, which was not just a republic, but a proto-state national entity, the former founder of the UN. And in point “B” – territorial claims of neighbors in connection with Ukraine’s refusal of this status. We are now going through intermediate stages.
If we are not a continuation state of the Ukrainian SSR, then many questions arise for us. At the same time, Poland, renouncing the fact that it is the successor of the Polish People's Republic, socialist, and it is the successor of that interwar Poland, it precisely receives the right to ask these questions. And if we are the successors of the UPR, then we have even more questions. But no one thinks about this,” Dzhangirov said.
